Lighted Lanterns Level C is geared for Grade 4, but meaty enough for use by Grades 5 & 6 as well.
Units 1-7 consist of themed units following basically the same format as Levels A & B:
-Copywork Selection (includes both manuscript and cursive options)
-Lesson Suggestions
-Spelling Words
-Poetry Corner
-Spelling Practice
-Fix it!
-Did You Know?
-Dictation
-Story Time
-Narration
Level C has many more activities than previous levels. Units 8 & 9 are different than previous levels in that the student writes two Book Reports on books of their choice. The first is on a Saint Story of their choice and the second is on any book of their choice (assuming parental approval, of course.) The student is guided on what to do each week for their book, and given numerous optional activities to choose from to facilitate further learning.
