Cascia Books Updates

We hope everyone is enjoying a lovely summer so far!

As mentioned in a previous post, we are going through some big changes soon.

First, just a reminder that almost all our products' prices have been slashed to ridiculously low prices. Well below our cost in the case of Lighted Lanterns. These prices will never be seen again!

The products we currently have in stock won't be available long, you only have until the end of August to buy whatever happens to be in stock, as we are shutting down our store part of the site. The products will still be available, perhaps not all of them right away, but only through resellers and Amazon.

This also means that ALL DOWNLOADS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. While most of our downloads are simply digital versions of physical products, some are not, namely, the Advent Activities. If you have never checked them out, now would be a good time to do so! They will probably never be available again.

So, come on over and check out what we have left and take advantage of some great deals. The online store will shut down either Aug. 31, 2018, or when all our stock is gone, whichever comes first.

We also thought you might enjoy a couple reviews of our latest publication: Marcus' Last Stand, that is available on Amazon.com
If you are at all familiar with Susan Peek's novels (Crusader King, St. Magnus, A Soldier Surrenders) you will love this book. The story carries you along at a fast pace and kept my interest throughout. It's really a book for the whole family; ages 8 to adult, I would say. Though placed in ancient times, this book has an overall theme that is relatable to any and every era, even those in which there may not be physical martyrdoms taking place. Grab a cup of coffee (or chicory coffee is you're like me), settle down into your favorite chair, and read this book straight to finish. You won't be able to put it down, so be forewarned. The illustrations are also lovely and fit with the style.

I had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy of this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the story by this talented teen author. This fictional story really highlights how difficult and dangerous it was to be one of the early Christians. There are so many great discussion topics throughout the story that readers of all ages can ponder. Marcus not only faced bullies, but he also had to decide if his faith was worth defending when faced with the brutality of the Roman government. Marcus’ Last Stand would make a great teaching tool for families. An impressive accomplishment for this new young talent. I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

So sorry to see you go. Will you publish a list of resellers, or a link to the products when they come available on Amazon?

"If we wish to see any improvement in the state community or the family, the family must, in common with the Church, educate the children in Christianity. It is true that the hope of a better future is founded on a good, obedient youth." ~ St. John Vianney
